My crazy home schooling Life!

So this has been a crazy journey for my family. I had so many self doubts and I honestly wasn't sure if I could do it. After  many months and many challenges I think we have finally gotten a good mix between fun and school. They call me the teacher and daddy the principle. It was a huge challenge finding all of my children's learning styles, finding the right pace for each child. I instantly understood why my youngest son wasn't grasping things in class. He needs a hands on learning curriculum mixed with different types to keep him focused and energized. My oldest son is adhd and we spent many of the first 2 months butting heads. Finally we found lessons he enjoyed and engaged in and wanted to do. We use 5 different curriculum's for him . Language arts we use different styles and mix and match and he loves it. My middle son has the classic middle son syndrome and poor guy is the easiest going child I have ever met. He loves to learn and excels at math and reading. He loves lifpacs. He works at his own pace and gets so excited after completing a unit. He feels like he has accomplished something. He needs the small achievements and then the huge ones.

All in all I think we have all came a long way since December and I finally found my groove. I am happy to say we are home schooled and we are rocking it. Next challenge is find next years curriculum woohoo. I would love any thoughts, recommendations from my veteran home school moms.
